Long time no see.
It’s been a tad too long in-between my blog posts not to mention my podcasts. My sincere apologies for those of you that come here and enjoy those items from me. I blame this past month’s Mercury in Retrograde which isn’t officially over until May 28th. Supposedly. I don’t care if people think it’s hooey or not, but what I do know is that April and May were a tad dicey for me which coincidentally fell inside Merc’s dates. In amongst holding on for dear life and hoping the cruel nature of retro merc would (will) finally end, I have been busy making things and planting things and rehearsing with my musical peeps so it hasn’t all been for naught.
Regarding this year’s Capitola performances, I updated the side panel: Happenings & Events section on my site which displays all live appearances if you would like to take a peek. There’s also more info on the individual confirmed dates over in facebook. I’m really excited about the lineup! Amongst fabulous authors and poets reading their work, Mark and I will be singing and performing tunes as well. We have a performance coming up next weekend in Platteville, WI at The Driftless Market that I’m totally looking forward to and hope to see you there. I’ll put up a little reminder sometime next week.
A podcast is in the works so expect more nonsense and insight into what I do in that studio of mine. It recently received a fresh coat of bright ocean blue called Cozumel and I’m enjoying it quite a bit (way darker and richer than this sample, but you get the idea) It has been really enjoyable being in there lately.
More art cards are being made and I am currently working on a butterfly series and a fruit/veggie series. Currently these cards below are up for auction over at ebay and eager to find their new homes. If you see other cards that have since been sold that you are interested in, economical prints are always available at redbubble.com.
